No, the lat/lng are different.

Why not? There is no universal law that would prevent this. People can call their cities however they like.

the geo-coordinates in the German article are not using a standard format and are not recognized by our parse.
The coordinates in the English article probably have been added after we have parsed the wikipedia dump.

Du machst nichts falsch. Die gerundeten Koordinaten stammen von der US Army und sind meist die einzigen frei erhältlichen.

These are open issues and you are welcome if you want to help fix it. The code '00' stands for 'undefined and these regions have not yet received code.
