Is there a consistent way to determine which 'parent' populated place (not ADM) a PPLX feature code (section of a populated place) is part of?
I am looking at establishing a direct linkage between London suburbs/neighbourhoods and the London PPLC (id = 2643743) itself.

The hierarchy table serves exactly for this purpose. However, the current content of the table was mainly automatically generated based on distance and size. For megacities in particular it needs a lot of additional effort to improve those relations.
