Why is this 2007 data you refer me to not reflected in your Geonames data? At least what I'm offering is an improvement from population incorrectly currently given as 0, for cities that are above 10,000? Many large French cities still have a population incorrectly set as 0.
Can you update them on your end using your 2007 data source for cities above 10,000?
