Hi all,

I beleived that the first column (concatenated codes) of the "admin2Codes.txt" file was unique and refered to a unique geoname Id.

But as you can see,

Code:
 AS.00.020	Faleasao County	Faleasao County	7267965
 AS.00.020	Fitiuta County	Fitiuta County	7267966
 AS.00.020	Ofu County	Ofu County	7267967
 AS.00.020	Olosega County	Olosega County	7267968
 AS.00.020	Ta'u County	Ta'u County	7267969
 AS.00.010	Vaifanua County	Vaifanua County	7267973


it's not the case...

you are right it does not make sense like this. in the rest of the us the counties have a unique id. here the id is not unique and we will have to find another id or an other set of admin divisions
