I have a country specified in terms of its identifier. The URL in the subject takes one directly to a map presentation.

I'd like to get a simple JSON response with the country name.

What would the API call look like?

Hey Chuck,

I believe you can use the following API call. It'll give you a bunch of results, one of which will be the country name:

http://api.geonames.org/getJSON?geonameId=1880251&username=
