Hi,
I observed that adminName1 is now not returning the actual name of the admin division to which the place belongs in ws.geonames.org/search? web-service. It is returning the code for that admin division. eg. http://ws.geonames.org/search?q=&country=ZA&maxRows=10&style=FULL&fclass=P&startRow=1 The above call is giving adminName1 as ZA.11 which was previously giving "Western Cape" for Cape Town city.
Can you please confirm on this?
Thanks for letting me know. I have restarted the application server and the problem disapeared. I guess it has to do with the application server having run out of memory.
