Hello,

I'm going to use Alternatenames data on my site. I've sorted all rows by language code and got strange result.

There are 1590430 records without any language code! After that goes russian with just 91483 rows, then Persian (83944) and English.

I wonder why there are 1590430 rows without any language code? Or it's just me (maybe I had problem with importing data or something)?

This is correct. I am afraid we don't yet know the language for many alternate names.

Thanks for quick reply.

Do you know where can I get more translations for all languages? I'm building multilangial site and it would be very helpful.

Sorry Alexey, If I knew where to get the information then I would have integrated it in GeoNames.
