Hello,
i have found geonames as a great service, but i need something i havent seen here yet. I need a database of all postal codes of some countries (like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Italy) in MS Excel format. I m not really familiar with database/web technologies, so maybe it is possible to create it somehow but i dont know how.
Is it possible to get this database somewhere at geonames or create it?
I wanted to copy it from the search pages for every country, but i m not sure, if there is all, since the list never has more than 200 items.
Thank you,
f.

You can download all (or parts) of the database from http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/.
The data is tab-delimited and can easily be imported into Excel.
