GeoNames Forum

If I search for Postal Codes in Switzerland, 8640 e.g., then some Citys apears twice, once without "Zustellung" once with the suffix "Zustellung".
If I search Rapperswil (postal code 8640) on the home page, geonames only find one City Rapperswil, which is right.

Can somebody explain why? btw, Zustellung means "delivery place"

The postal code information is from Swiss Post, they have two official entries in their file.
Some users have asked us to include both in our data set. You can ignore the one with 'Zustellung' if you don't like it (the same with 'Distribuzione' in Ticino, and 'Distribution' in the Romandie)
