Hello,

Thanks a lot for your for this wonderful service. i am finding it very helpful.
I am finding an issue when I perform a search for San Francisco. The results are not bringing any thing for San Francisco, CA. The same behavior happens when I search for San Diego, Los Angeles etc.

We would expect to see San Francisco , California at the top of the list since it is the biggest and and more populated. I am not sure if I need to set some further params fro ADM1 etc.

Below is the URL I am using.

Could some please help me to get the right results?

The capital of California is Sacramento. San Francisco is PPLA2 and you do not have this on your featureCode list. Either remove your featureCode filter or add all you need.

Thanks a lot Marc for your great help! Now I am able to get the results without any issues.

One questions, where can I find the info such like PPLA2 corresponding to a particular city? I am able to find the different codes from http://www.geonames.org/export/codes.html but I cannot see what does a city means in geonames context.

Thanks
