Geoname ID 4884562 is for Berkeley IL.

More recently Geoname ID 8436911 was added for Berkley [sic] IL.

It seems to me that the latter record is largely incorrect:

1. The name is misspelled in 8436911.
2. The latitude & longitude values are different (I don't know which is correct).
3. The feature codes are different (the newer code is probably more representative of the record).
4. The population figures are different (the newer code is probably more correct as per the 2010 census data if Wikipedia is to be believed).
5. The elevation is clearly incorrect in 8436911.
6. The dem values are different (I don't know which is correct).

If it were just a simple matter of correcting one or the other, I think I could figure that out via the manual. A quick glance at it doesn't show me how to mark one for deletion (and that is probably not possible for security reasons). I intend to ignore the newer record for the moment, as the correct spelling of the name is more important to me than most of the other data. I just thought I'd pass it along so that something might be done with the two records.
