I have been using "postalCodeSearch" to Geocode locations based on the country and zip code and have had decent success except for a few zip codes. The following are a few of those that do not seem to get back any response for the following URL format(http://api.geonames.org/postalCodeSearch?username=demo&postalcode=04610-060&country=BR):
BR, 89219-600
BR, 04610-060
IE, BT66 6NJ
CN, 215122
All the above are valid zip codes and when I double checked these with http://www.geonames.org/postalcode-search.html, I did not see any results.

Could anyone please let me know if I am doing something wrong or if these zip codes are currently not supported? Will switching to a premium license help?

Those codes are not supported and switching to the premium license will not help. We simply do not have this data.
