First of all, the geonames database is fantastic!
Using this database, I made a website, and I would share it with us:

At the moment the site is only in spanish, but I would
like to traduce to other languages in the future.

It's a site about geographical places using geonames database,
combined with other sources like Google Maps, Panoramio and Wikipedia.
The main idea is join the best of each source in an unique place, in a
compact way to see all you want to know about a single place.
So, you can search in geonames database in many ways, see panoramios
photos related to a place, read the wikipedia related article and
navigate the maps with additional relevant information.

In the other way I would like to offer my help to increase or make
better geonames database.
I'm from Argentina, and if I can help in any way, please let me know it.
