Hi,

Im new to GeoNames and trying to find out if there is a geocoding service.

The reason I ask is that I have tried using OSM nominatim and Open Mapquest to geocode places like train stations and airports in the UK and it just doesn't appear to be able to find them.

But, when I visited openstreetmaps.org and searched for "Dinas Powys Railway Station" it seemed to find it using this service.

I've had a look at the list of APIs available from GeoNames but cannot work out which one is being used by OSM.

Can anyone help please?
