Is it possible to get the bounds on a geoname ID. I can only seem to look up the center?

the search service includes bounding box for a lot of features. For admin divisions it is based on polygons, for cities it is right now an estimate based on population numbers. We are working on improving this.

Is it possible to look up these polygons through a webservice I would want to look up and draw the bounds of countries?
