Hi Marc

The file allCountries.txt brings the expression "Estado de/do/da" for all Brazilian locations with 'ADM1' level (states). I would like to ask you to remove this expression, leaving only the actual name of the state, just like what happens to the United States of America, which does not have the words "State of" in the same file for the same administrative level. Is it possible?

Regards
Gilros

Use the alternatename table names with the isShort flag. It is far more flexible as it allows to define the names for each language.

Best Regards

I agree with Gilros.
Alternate names are nice to add a name for a different locale. However that is not the case here. The name should not include "State of " or "Estado de".
