Hi,
first of all, this is my first post here in the forum.
Thanks a lot for the geonames team for providing such a huge service.

I'm using geonames search service in a french user context. While performing the search, I can of course set a lang parameter. But nevertheless, I get part of the result untranslated. Like featurecode data.
I guess it is just only available in english, but I was wondering : do you know of a translation of the featurecode table ?
And if not, wouldn't it be interesting to integrate such a translation in the geonames service ?
As of my part, I'd be OK to translate at least part of the values to french.

Your help is very welcome.
A translation for the feature codes is available only for a few languages. You find them in the download directory:
http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/

French is not yet among the translations, your contribution will be very helpful.
