First of all i'd like to give my respect to the people behind GeoNames for this excellent source.

As many before i had the same problem with uploading dumps into Sql Server database.
So i wrote a simple application that will handle that for you.

*requires minimum ammount of memory (can handle any dump size without OutOfMemoryException)
*supports remote insert (dump file doesn't have to be on the same file system as Sql server)
*can upload/create only certain fields

For now it only supports: geoname table, post codes table, countryInfo table. If i'll see a lot of interests for this application i will add all the rest of the tables and will make sure that it's up to date.
