Hi

i notice that now a request to a file that does not exist(http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/foo.zip) are not treated as 404, but send 302 http status code. it can seems a detail but it is not very useful to detect file not found exception.

is it possible to change it

i also would really like this- it is much nicer to check for a 404 error than it is to get a valid response that contains a 404 error html page!

would love to have it back to the old way.
