I'm having trouble calling the api.geonames.org methods. I've done a traceroute from my host and it gets almost to the domain and hangs. My program has accessed the api prior to yesterday (11/19); but since I'm getting timeout errors. I can access it from my web browser and through a traceroute on my local computer but not from my web server.

appears to working again today.

api.geonames.org seems to be down again today.

Not only do the various api calls I am using fail, but I can't even reach the pages that describe the various APIs that are linked to from this page:

http://www.geonames.org/export/ws-overview.html

The api services resumed about 3 or 4 hours after I posted this yesterday. It is working today.
