It would be good if the webservice could be modified.

(1) always show a last-modified timestamp for all data returned
(2) offer a webservice that only needs a town name and countrycode and returns

(a) all towns found
(b) hierarchy for all towns
(c) postcodes for all towns
(d) including all existing stuff as well (lon/latt, population)

This way less requests are needed...and with a single requests data can be cleaned up a quicker
