Hello, I'm a brand new member, and I just wanted to post a small topic to introduce myself quickly, and congratulate you for your amazing site.

My name is Jérôme, I'm a 36-y old French man, working on the net.
I'm the co-founder of a French site dedicated to travel, which is under Creative Commons licence. That's how I heard about GeoNames.

I'm really impressed by the quality (and quantity) of your site's content, and I wanted to tell you did an amazing job. It's really nice to see that people do collaborate to deliver such a massive amount of data, without asking expressively something (money, for instance) in exchange of their effort. I'm glad to see that such a community exists, and am really willing to help you if I can.
