colloquial instead of short name in geotree  XML

How does it come that Pennsylvania (ID 6254927) is listed in the geotree under its colloquial name of Keystone State. Shouldn't the short or preferred name be the first choice for "short" names and the geotree? It is quite confusing not to be able to find Pennsylvania in the geotree under its real name...
