Hi all, in our project we provide our staff the possibilities to insert places, and to give back to geonames we are inserting even in the geonames db throught the update api.

But after the insertion, the place is not searchable throught the webserivice, even after some days of lag.

This is a issues for us, is this problem addressable?

Example of a place inserted: http://www.geonames.org/search.html?q=Maximilianeum&country=

and the search with webservice:
http://api.geonames.org/search?q=Maximilianeum&maxRows=10&username=demo

Hi Michele

There are several servers and the immediate propagation of inserts to the other servers is currently disabled. It therefore takes some days till the update are visible.
