Does GeoNames include the China cities? I was examining the GeoTree here: http://geotree.geonames.org/geotree.html

It seems to only contain Chinese regions? Not cities?

Thanks Marc, looking at the GeoTree there seems to be lots of regions in China (and other countries) which contain no cities. Any ideas why? Are the cities not connected to the regions properly? Or is there a bug?

Geotree is hierarchical. For cities where the admin1 code is missing it cannot display them in the hierarchy. Displaying all without an adm1 code on top would result in too big a list.
