I am using GeoSetter which uses GeoNames to supply place name information

I normally use it regularly

I have had a weeks holiday and have bot used GeoSetter for 10 days. i have taken my hokiday photos off my camera and opened GeoSetter. EXIFtool wanted an upgrade, which I allowed.

Then when I ran GeoSetter I got a message that I had exceeded the the 30000 daily limit. I doubt I have made 30000 requests in my life but as I say above this was the first time I have used it for over 10 days and was the first use for today, with 163 requests

Any ideas what is happening?

GeoSetter per default is using a common account for all geosetter users. If you get the credit exceed error then it means that all geosetter users together have reached the limit. You can create your own account and configure geosetter to use your own account.
