We're using Premium webservices since couple of months with no problem.
This morning, we got an error on each request like this :
<geonames>
<status message="unauthorized ip address 88.198.66.142 for [username]" value="10"/>
</geonames>
but the problem is that this IP address is not mine ! I searched on a Reverse DNS Lookup tool and the fact is this IP address is resolved as "ws.geonames.net".
To avoid this error, I added this IP on my list of authorized on my account and it's ok.
Dont't know if it is the right place but I wanted to inform you about that
Thanks Jean-Luc for letting us know. It is a configuration error we will take care of it. The ip address is an internal ip address belonging to a new server and it was not yet included in all configurations. During a mainenance task your request going to this server should be handled by another server, but this other server did not yet know how to properly handle the internal ip address as the original ip address was not passed.
Which service was causing the issue? I found a few services where the ip was not passed, but the majority of the services should not have had this issue unless there is a second issue in parallel.
