I downloaded the RDF database dump (http://download.geonames.org/all-geonames-rdf.zip) several times and found it contains about 1,175,000 entries with the last line being incomplete.

any hints on getting the remaining 6,000,000+ features?

This type of complaint usually comes when people use an inadequate tool to uncompress the large file. Some old tool versions (especially on windows) have file size limits and only uncompress the first 2GB of data.

is 7zip adequate? that's what I used to unzip the file. other suggestions?
