Hello,

I noticed some troubling irregularities using GeoNames Search Webservice, more specifically when searching for places that contains an apostrophe.

For instance,

107 results (right)
[url]http://ws.geonames.org/searchJSON?lang=fr&style=short&featureClass=P&featureCode=PPL&country=CA&adminCode1=10&name_startsWith=L

107 results (wrong)
http://ws.geonames.org/searchJSON?lang=fr&style=short&featureClass=P&featureCode=PPL&country=CA&adminCode1=10&name_startsWith=L'

0 result (wrong)
http://ws.geonames.org/searchJSON?lang=fr&style=short&featureClass=P&featureCode=PPL&country=CA&adminCode1=10&name_startsWith=L'A

1 result (right)
http://ws.geonames.org/searchJSON?lang=fr&style=short&featureClass=P&featureCode=PPL&country=CA&adminCode1=10&name_startsWith=L'Assompt

Is there a problem with the query in the first place ? If someone could shed light on this, that would be much appreciated.
