Hi all,
The webservice http://ws.geonames.org/findNearestIntersectionOSM? is not returning the accurate result.
For example,,the point -34.8694152832031&lng=-56.0672988891602 should return Camino Carrasco and Camino Gigantes(according to openstreetmap.org), but it returns Camino Carrasco and Cooper.

http://ws.geonames.org/findNearestIntersectionOSM?lat=-34.8694152832031&lng=-56.0672988891602

is anyone experimenting any similar issues?
Thanks in advance,
Best regards
marc

Wadi

There is no "Camino Gigantes" in the osm version we are using. If it has been recently added then it will take some weeks or months till it becomes accessible for the reverse geocoder.

Best Regards

Marc

I don't know when it has been added, I checked on openstreetmap.org. The thing is that I didn't find this problem before. If you have an update planned, will you let us now? Thanks in advance,
Regards
