In the most recent dump, line 323 of featurecodes_en.txt has an extra column in that row that appears erroneous:

Code:
S.GHAT	ghat	a set of steps leading to a river, which are of religious significance, and at their base is usually a platform for bathing 	S - Spot Features


The S - Spot Features just appears to be a generic description of all "S" feature codes and not intended to be an entry. Is my assumption correct?

thanks. you are right it is a copy-paste error. It will be removed with the next dump.
