Hi,

I understand that these services are provided for free, but is it normal for the timezone queries to take 30 sec for a response? They seem to timeout with no response often.

If I were to buy credits, what are the response times like?

Thanks.

EDIT: Seems better now, but still I would like to know if it's more stable when you buy credits?

The daily dump is running at the time of your posting. Combined with the high load on the free servers it results in timeouts and performance issues. The commercial servers are not affected and have stable response time.

We have moved the backup/daily dump to a new server this solved the performance/availability issues during this process.

The paypal button for donations is here, if somebody wants to help share the cost of the additional server:

The load on the free servers, however, is still high and if it continues to grow we will have to decrease the number of allowed credits per ipaddress.
