Hi,
Sheffield, GB is not displaying on the commerical web services, please can this be corrected?
This is showing on geonames.org (ID 2638077).
Thanks
Stuart

which service are we speaking of? At least the search services return the city. How are you calling it?
Best

Hi Marc,
Apologies in the delay in reply.
Have taken a closer look and you are correct! Sheffield is coming back successfully.
My apps actually exiting early due to another record in the same response, Sheffield Park, as below.
Note the lng element; I am parsing the value as a number but it has scientific notation in it causing my problem.
I've attempted to move this a few meters away to "reset" the lat/lng values to something a little more appropriate but I don't have permission.
Any chance you could help out?
Cheers
Stu

Hi Stu
I guess you are not the only one with this kind of problem. We will therefore change the format of the number to something simpler. The precision is anyhow too high.
The change has already been deployed on the free servers. It will take some days till it is deployed on the commercial servers.
The coordinates for Sheffield Park will look like:
<lat>50.99204</lat>
<lng>0.00086</lng>

Hi Stu
The rollout of new features is step by step in order of service level agreement: first the free services, then after some days the 'best price' servers and in the end the 'best availability servers'. It has already been deployed on the first two and the deployment on the ba is scheduled for the coming weekend.
Best
Marc
