Hi,

I am using the iPhone app "Point de Vue" which shows the name of swiss mountains on a drawn panorama. Apparently, this app uses the locations data from GeoNames. I found that one location (Hoher Kasten, AI in Switzerland) was not correctly placed. So I register in GeoNames web site and moved this location to its correct position. Having done this, I realized that the flag for Hoher Kasten is no more visible on the GeoName map. This location is still in your data base, but no more visible on the map. Did I did something wrong or do you validate every modification that the users are doing before it appears on the map ?

By the way, the satellite view does not show up on the map.

Hi Daniel

If you are not close enough then it may seem that points disappear. Only 50 points are displayed and if your point is not among the randomly selected points then you don't see it. You just have to zoom in more then you will see it again.
