Hi,

3424948 Jezioro Iławki Jezioro Ilawki Ilawki,Ilawki See,Iławki,Jlawki See 54.0333333 -21.5833333 H LK PL PL 85 0-9999 Europe/Warsaw 2004-09-09

This Poland lake is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean...
I think it should be 21.5833333

Talking about oceans and seas, did someone find a way (or a database) with geopoints delimiting them? So that if I click in the middle of a sea, it will find one of the sea geopoint before finding a country geopoint...?

There is a new service that returns the ocean or sea:
http://www.geonames.org/export/web-services.html#ocean

I have changed the longitude of the Polish Lake from West to East.

Just wondering... does this service use the regular (downloadable) database of geopoints or does it use another database listing oceans delimiting polygons?

This service is using polygons.
