How do I get city, region, country for a given city through the webservice - akin to the search on the home page. For example, burlington

Burlington USA, Vermont
..
Burlington Australia, Victoria
..
Burlington Canada, Ontario

I've tried everything and I end up with the city and country, but not the region. I would like to emulate the following output:

http://www.geonames.org/search.htmlq=burlington&country=

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is in the xml element 'adminName1':
