Hello everybody,

Can somebody tell me if there are ADMs which have cities as well as deeper ADMs (e.g. parent ADM1, child ADM2) as children? Or are the children of an ADM always either only ADMs or only cities?

I've tried to work on a SQL query but somehow can not seem to crack this problem.

both is possible. For two reasons.

- the data is not complete. for some cities we don't know the low level admin divisions.
- for historic reasons not all cities in a country are on the same admin level.
