I am trying to extract just the cities from the data dump.
Does anyone know which admin codes I should be using.
Currently on column 7, i am looking for "P",
and Column 8 Is where I get confused. Do i use PPL PPLL? or both..
Or is what im doing completely wrong and there is something else available?
It is working, but it is including some historical city names, and quite few that dont make sense.

Well last time I heard there were 20K max cities in the united states, and there about 43k including towns and municipalities.
After importing about 25 mb's of the 300mb'ish file i am sitting at about 10,000 unique records.
Column 8 i am just looking for "PPL" and making sure the label of the field doesnt include '(historical)'
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
