converting getBounds return points to North east west south  XML

City service requires following parameters:

north,south,east,west : coordinates of bounding box

how can I convert NorthEast and South West into 4 points?

please help me

you only need two points to fill the four parameters.

ok I some how I managed to find out but geonames doesnt seem return correct data.

below is the tiny url for geonames xml service for subcontinent region
but it's returning cities which are not even on browser view:

why is it showing Cairo when it's not even in scope?

your code is wrong. 'west' should not be lat, but lng instead.
