GeoNames Forum

Hello everyone,
I have an issue with an implementation of geonames api on a prestshop checkout system that i cannot manage to fix.
Basically, on the checkout page, after you chose a state, a list of cities is automatically pulled from geonames.
However, for the capital state, more than the cities are pulled.. also some neighbourhoods appear.
Is there a way to limit the cities just to the main children of the states?
