I am currently working on a project related to geographical data in the Berlin, Germany area and have noticed that some of the place names and geographical coordinates are either outdated or have changed over time.

I would like to ask the community for advice on the best way to update this data in the GeoNames system. Specifically:

Is there an official process to propose changes or updates to place name data?
How can we ensure that the updated information is reflected across all applications or systems using GeoNames?
What important considerations should be kept in mind when updating this data?
