So, to overcome the warning of hourly limits I created a user account. I got the email, I confirmed the registeration and I am able to singin using my username and password. So far, so good.

I went into the settings of Geosetter and added my username under Geonames.

However whenever I want to get placenames from the web, Geosetter says it doesn't recognize my username as a registered user.
But I can signin at https://www.geonames.org/login .

Why is my username not recognized by the software?
