In surfing on the web yesterday, I found an interessant website made by Gwillim Law, on "Statoids". He calls "statoids" all first degree country subdivisions and repertoriate some interesting facts I think on this page : http://statoids.com/factoids.html

This page caught my attention with some really unknown fun facts I think, on particularities on some "statoids".

But the author of the website doesn't updates this list with more unusual facts and I am very curious about knowing more about that.

Have you any others "factoids" to add ?

Hi

The Statoids website has been an invaluable source of information, especially 20 years ago when much less information was available on Wikipedia and other online platforms. This comprehensive resource was created by Gwillim Law, whose dedication and meticulous research have greatly contributed to our understanding of global administrative divisions. Sadly, Gwillim Law passed away in 2016, but his legacy continues through the wealth of knowledge he provided.

Best Regards

Marc
