Hello to everyone!

I am new to the use of GeoNames and I am kinda confused.

Why to use the web service if you are a free user (=credit limitations) and not to data from the zip files?

The data in the zip file does not have a parent-child relationship，this troubles me a lot

Hi, I am looking for Canadian Postal Codes and their lat-long of their center. I am confused, since when I want to check out the data to buy, I am obliged to buy Gazette files. what I those and why I need them?
