Duplicate Long/Lat for different US Zipcodes

the Long/Lat for the US zipcodes 91711 and 90403 are the same. It seems that the Long/Lat for the 91711 zipcode is in error. Geonames is currently reporting:

    Latitude: 33.786594
    Longitude: -118.298662

and is should be something close to:

    Latitude: 34.1276
    Longitude: -117.7168

BTW, 91711 is for Claremont, CA, USA and
90403 is for Santa Monica, CA, USA

Is it possible to get the Long/Lat corrected for 91711?

A general question: Have you ever run a internal consistancy check on the zipcodes to verify that no 2 zipcodes have the same Long/lat? This is something that you might want to consider doing.

Additional information:

If I do a city search on "claremont, ca, us", I get the correct Lat/Long.

However, if I do a zipcode search on 91711 (this is the zipcode for Claremont), I get the lat/Long for 90403 (this is the zipcode for Santa Monica).
