Hello everybody I am trying to build a webservice used for finding places suitable for spending holidays in western europe. I need the zip/dump/whatever inteligible file containing the relation place name , zip, geonameid, so i subscribe to the growing list of the people who needs it for legitimate purposes. If anyone from geonames.org cares about us, then please people, provide some usefull dumps , cause well intended programmers are spending their valueble time in reassembling the pieces of data provided by either the geonames.org webservices, or the dumps available in zip format. P.S. if you guys can't help people, then don't tangle their lives with partial chunks of data.

Hello, Zipcodes are sort of an hobby of mine, this is what I have gatherd over the years of Europe: This one is at 50% (click for the the big one if you like) It is in a Winkel Projection built with Perl dumping it into a HTML file for the browser (every zip code becomes a dot, takes a while!)
