Parameter radius not working properly

Hello

I'm using FindNearbyPostalCodes from your API. I submit (by button click on my homepage) 'lat' and 'lng' as parameters to the URL of Geonames. One of these URL's looks like this:

http://api.geonames.org/findNearbyPostalCodes?lat=47.656076&lng=8.831322&radius=20&maxRows=100&country=CH&username=demo

I checked the results and I noticed that some postal codes appear which are more than 20km away from the 'lat' and 'lng'. As you can see in the link there is at the first postalcode '8259'. Now I search for '8404' and copy/paste the 'lat' and 'lng' from these two postal codes in the Google Maps route planner. And then you can see that these two cities are more than 20km away from each other.

Why is that? I set the parameter 'radius' to '20km' and it does not work properly.

Suggestions appreciated :)
