False duplicate detected, can't create new record

Following on from my previous msg I have tried to create Ban Sam Ek Tai. I'm then told that this is a duplicate of the Ban Sam Ek Neua that I created earlier and I can't save it. It obviously isn't a real dupe, one is North, the other South. Being a hamlet the two are close together.

So, I created successfully Ban Sam Ek Tai (21), then changed the name by removing the number. There should be an easier way to override this (valid) warning.

The Cancel button (x) next to the green button doesn't work for me (Firefox). I have to use the close button in the top right corner.

Regards,
Peter.
