POI - Display supermarkets only.

Hi all,

I have been getting to grips over the last few days with Geonames, and intergrating this service into a JSON query within an android application.

I have read the documentation and see that there is a points of interest search string that can query the database. This is what I want but I cant seem to find a way of setting this search so just the supermarkets near to a user are displayed?

What is needed so just the near by supermarkets can be displayed and not all POI's?

Any information on this would be great! :D

Hi

It is not yet possible to filter on the server side by type names. I think this new functionality will come in a couple of weeks.

Best Regards
