How to help to improuve the database ?

Hello,

Instead of correct to errors on our side, i would prefer to correct the error in the geonames database. Ex "juan-les-pins" in france is under the "antibes" administrative area. Also all the name of russian cities must be in cyrillic, not in latin :( the city name in postal codes are also often innacurate

Hi Stephane

Helping improve the data is very simple:
http://www.geonames.org/manual.html

As for juan-les-pins the problem was that the lat/lng was in the ocean and it did not fall withing the municipality polygons from IGN. Moving it slightly to the city center solved it.

Best Regards
